The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at OMI is managed by specially trained foreign and local staff and is provided with sophisticated equipment such as ventilators, multi-channel cardiac monitors, oximeters, dynamaps, syringe and infusion pumps, defibrillators, temporary pace makers, ECG machines, central oxygen supply and central suction facility etc. The comprehensive range of specialized equipment makes it one of the most technologically advanced units in the country.

The specialized ICU staff working under the consultant’s instructions, are highly trained to cope with patients requiring continuous monitoring and intensive nursing care.
