The following practices can be used to protect oneself from getting infected:
Wear mask and gloves
at
all public places
Avoid touching your eyes,
nose and mouth as much as possible
Maintain a 6-foot distance with anyone especially if he/she is coughing or sneezing
Cover your nose and mouth with tissue paper or use your bent elbow when you cough or sneeze
Clean your hands as frequently as possible. This can be done by washing your hands with soap for 20 seconds or use a hand sanitiser.
Avoid any public gatherings as much as possible
Stay at home if you observe any common or
less common symptoms mentioned earlier
If you have any serious symptoms or observe severity in the common symptoms mentioned earlier, seek medical attention immediately or call your nearest healthcare facility.

When a patient not tested previously for COVID-19 and requires admission, he/she will be accommodated in the Quarantine Ward and simultaneously COVID PCR will be done.
If the patient is found to be positive for COVID-19, he/she will be shifted to the Isolation Ward for further treatment. In case, the result is negative, the patient will be shifted to Non-COVID areas.
Patients with positive COVID PCR test having serious symptoms are accommodated. All COVID-19 ICU beds are equipped with ventilators and other specialized medical equipment e.g. BIPAP, CPAP, High Flow Nasal Oxygen Device, which may be required during the treatment of the patient.
We are one of the very few hospitals catering to maternity cases where the mother is COVID-19 positive. In addition, should the newborn baby also be COVID-19 positive all necessary arrangements are in place for the baby.

For COVID-19 patients, the attendant timings are confined to these three slots:
8:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.
2:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
8:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
In these slots the attendant can meet with the medical officer and get all the updates of his/her patient.
An Attendant is only allowed in “Special Scenarios” which can be discussed when you arrive at the facility.
