OMI Gastroenterology Unit is run by nationally and internationally recognised gastroenterologists with the help of well-trained technicians and support staff. GI consultants are available at outpatient clinics from where they can treat their patients either medically or through procedures. Infection control measures and sterilization practices are followed strictly.
Our consultants perform upper & lower GI endoscopy, endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), stone extraction with stenting, sclerotherapy, PEG tube placement, oesophageal dilatation with stent placement, band ligation of oesophageal varices + haemorrhoids, and intra-gastric balloon placement.
Our gastroenterologists cover outpatient clinics on all weekdays and provide 24/7 emergency cover.
